Worship Piano ~ Module 2
Continuing the journey into Worship Piano, Mrs. Denie Riggs and her Perfect Praise Music teaching team provides additional training in Worship Piano. Mrs. Denie brings step-by-step guidance from her lifetime of teaching this style of piano improvisation.
In this module, you will continue working in the Key of C Major with additional chords and improv techniques. The Next Step feature takes some of the Module 1 songs into new levels of improvisation like adding the Bouncing Bass and the Melody.
You will study basic music theory on the Triad Scale. Mrs. Denie will teach on how to contrast a Major Chord with a Minor Chord, and will add new Color Chords into the Key of C songs. More chords means more fun.
Prerequisites: We recommend that you have completed Worship Piano Module 1 or be referred by your teacher.
In Worship Piano Module 2 you will study:
Basic Theory for Module 2:
- You will study the Triad Chord Scale for the Key of C Major
- You will study the C Major Scale in 2 octaves
- More Writing Worship steps
Styling Study for Module 2:
- A Chord Warmup Chart is provided for every new song, adding minor chords into your Key of C Major Chord Progression
