Piano Improvisation Piano Lessons
Releasing the Creativity within you at the piano.
The study of Piano Improvisation includes adding runs, fills, chords, and other musical concepts that are not written in the music. Piano Improvisation Course by Mrs. Denie Riggs will enable you to look at music an entirely different way. You will study the important music theory behind music and them be released step-by-step to develop your own style of performance.
These lessons are usually offered in private setting for the first few weeks and then you may join a lab lesson.
Application Fee: $30 required to hold space. Your materials and monthly tuition will be charged out directly through the office based on your start date.
Material Fee: $39.95 plus tax for book, Piano Improvisation. You will also need a hymnal and binder.
Tuition: $110 month
Prerequisites: Student must be able to read four part harmony (treble clef and bass clef) from a hymnal, or have completed Level 1 Alfred Adult or it’s equivalent to be able to start this program.
Performance Fee: We perform on stage twice each calendar year. Our performance fee varies between $25 and $45 depending on what we do. All registered students are charged this fee except special needs students who are unable to participate, and adults who prefer to not perform. This fee is charged out one month prior to the event.
