We love this time of year … the time when our wonderful music students showcase their talents; a time of fun and worship experiences for our students and audience.  Students of all ages will perform at these Christmas Recital events.

Christmas Recital Week Worship and Performance” Events… in person and on Zoom.

In-person events to be held at AB Stephens Music in their downstairs open area.

Our music school is closed for all lessons that week. We will meet you at your recital time!

We have four recital types for you!

Here are the Details and Signup Links:

  1. Early Childhood Music Recital: All baby/toddlers, 3-4 year old classes will perform together in one event. This event will be offered on Tuesday, November 19th at 5:30 p.m. No need to sign up.
  2. Sweet Music Recital: Ages 4.5 years and up. It’s back! One of the sweetest recital types ever. (We have not offered a popular Sweet Music Recital since covid.) This recital includes solo performances by signup, but also includes a catered, sit-down meal with desserts! Enjoy an evening of student performances, while seated in a sweet, cozy banquet seating, with door prizes… and fun! Tickets are $30 (children 3 years and under are free) This event is a fundraiser; the ticket price is not covered by your event fee. One Sweet Music Recital will be offered on Monday, November 18th at 6:00 p.m.. Seating is limited. Sign up for this event here: (You may adjust the number of tickets before November 1st.)
  3. Traditional, Solo Only Recitals: Ages 4.5 years and up. This involves solo performances and guests, seated in auditorium style. We are offering three traditional recitals, Tuesday, November 19th at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday November 20th at 530 and 7:00 p.m. Sign up for Traditional Solo Recitals here.
  4. Zoom Only Recital: Ages 4.5 years and up, If you are a remote student, you will sign up for the Zoom Only Recital. This Zoom only event will be offered on Thursday, November 21st at 6:00 p.m. (Central) Sign up for Zoom Recital here.

Deadline for signups is November 1st. All events must meet minimum sizes or will be merged after that date.

In-Person Specifics

  • Doors Open  20 minutes before your performance time..
  • Out of respect for all performers, we ask that you and all guests remain for the full recital, expected to last approximately one hour. (Sweet Music Recital will last approximately 1.5 hours) Please notify your guests in advance.
  • Attire: Solo Performers, ECM Students and on-stage Partners of all ECM students, we ask that your attire be Sunday Dress. Please no blue jeans or shorts. Lots of pictures will be taken and we want to all look awesome! (Sweet Music Recital, you may use this opportunity to really dress up, if desired … or not!)
  • Parking: There is plenty of Free Parking at AB Stephens Music. Enter through the side door. (The store will be closed at your recital times)
  • Performance and Entrance Fees
  • Performance Fees: Local, In-person Performance Fee $50, Remote Performance Fee: $35.
  • Local, N Alabama students who prefer to perform on the Zoom Recital will be charged for the in-person event, but use the Zoom link to sign up for your time.
  • All Performance Fees will be charged out on your auto account the first week of November, 2024, along with your November tuition.
  • Our policy is that if you are a registered student at Perfect Praise Music, you will be charged the Performance Fee regardless of whether or not you are able to attend.
  • No refunds or credits.
  • The only exceptions to paying this fee, are children/adults with special needs (if unable to participate), and adults who choose to not participate. (If you have non-parent, paying family members, please alert them to the Performance Fee.)   • Entrance Fee at the Door:
  • All recitals (except Sweet Music) are free, but we ask for a $5 per person entrance donation to benefit our Zoe Life Center’s ministry. learn More about Zoe Life here. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
