Lenny LeBlanc is a celebrated songwriter and singer whose hit ballad “Falling” dominated the late 70s, marking his pivotal role in the Muscle Shoals music scene. A self-taught musician from a modest background, his passion for music ignited when he discovered an old upright piano in his aunt’s basement. This moment sparked a lifelong journey that led him from a nervous middle-school performer to collaborations with legendary artists like The Temptations and Hank Williams Jr. After forming the duo LeBlanc & Carr, he quickly gained fame with “Falling,” which became a Billboard favorite.

Despite his early successes, including a national tour with Lynyrd Skynyrd that was tragically cut short by a plane crash, LeBlanc experienced a profound personal transformation following a conversation with a childhood friend. This encounter prompted a spiritual awakening that redirected his life and career, leading him to write worship music that resonates with contemporary themes. He became known for beloved church songs like “Above All” and “There Is None Like You,” contributing to numerous worship recordings. LeBlanc has made a significant impact on contemporary worship music. His work has been featured on numerous classic worship recordings for Maranatha and Integrity.

Now living in Florence, Alabama, with his wife Sherrie and daughter Hanna, LeBlanc continues to write pop and country music, penning hits for Sawyer Brown and collaborating with notable musicians. His latest project, “Love Like No Other,” features a newly recorded version of “Falling” alongside nine new worship songs, showcasing his enduring talent and commitment to both music and faith.
