Pre-Band Camp for Kids and Teens

Want to get a jump on band this fall?  Join our Pre-Band Camp to help prepare for a wind instrument, reading music, and just plain fun!

Date Offered: Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at AB  Stephens Music, 2828A Drake Avenue, Huntsville, AL 35605

Schedule:  9 am – 11:30 a.m.

Beginners Ages: 7-16 years

Specifics:

• Includes basic beginner instruction on rudiments of note values, reading melody notes
• Music instruction given on the recorder instrument. (Instrument not included, but may be purchased prior to start of camp for $12.00) Alert the office at time of enrollment.
• Includes training on basic rhythm patterns and performing those on bucket drums
• Includes worship routine on tambourine
• Includes training handouts
• Includes snack (students with allergies need to bring their own snack)

Total Fee due up front:  $69 (includes everything)

Video Follow-up: Includes Worship Recorder video lessons that reinforce the topics covered in this camp (a $49 value).
