Piano Improvisation Private Lessons

We offer the Piano Improvisation Study with private lessons with Mrs. Denie, the author.

The study of Piano Improvisation includes adding runs, fills, chords, and other musical concepts that are not written in the music.  Piano Improvisation Course by Mrs. Denie Riggs will enable you to look at music an entirely different way.  You will study the important music theory behind music and them be released step-by-step to develop your own style of performance.

These lessons are offered in-studio (N. Alabama) or remotely via ZOOM, Google Meet or FaceTime.

Application Fee:  $45 required up front to hold space. This fee is non-refundable as others may have been turned away.

Material Fee:  $39.95 plus tax for 250 page book, Piano Improvisation, plus shipping, if remote

Tuition:  $135 month, ongoing requiring one month advance notice of withdrawal. 20-30 minute lessons

Prerequisites:  Student must be able to read four part harmony (treble clef and bass clef) from a hymnal, or have completed Level 1 Alfred Adult or it’s equivalent to be able to start this program. We offer lessons to help prepare you if needed. Speak with Mrs. Denie before booking.
