Overview Schedule of Events that Week (see below for details)
- Monday November 16: 6:00 p.m. (central) Zoom Recital
- Tuesday November 17: 5:00 p.m. Musical Manger rehearsal with all actors
- Tuesday November 17: 7:00 p.m. Regular in-person Solo Recital for 4.5 years and up.
- New! Wednesday November 18: 4:15 p.m. Regular in-person Solo Recital for 4.5 years and up.
- Wednesday November 18: 5:30 p.m. Regular in-person Solo Recital for 4.5 years and up.
- Wednesday November 18: 7:00 p.m. Regular in-person Solo Recital for 4.5 years and up.
- Thursday November 19: 6:30 p.m. MUSICAL MANGER PRESENTATION. See below for specifics.
Our office and all schools are closed that week as we are in the Recital!
SOLO STUDENTS (PRE KNK STUDENTS, KNK STUDENTS AND PRIVATE STUDENTS) MUST SIGN UP FOR YOUR SOLO PERFORMANCE TIME BY NOVEMBER 1st.
Doors Open to the Public 20 minutes before each event.
Event Fees: All registered students of Perfect Praise Music share in our event costs, regardless of whether you perform or not. The only exception to this guideline are special needs students who are not able to perform, and adults, who are given the option to perform.
The event fee for our Christmas Recital is $55.00 per individual student. For our multiple sibling discount, $100 flat for families of 2 siblings, and $125 flat per family of 3 or more students. Event fees will be charged out October 15, 2026 on your auto account with Perfect Praise, Inc. Please notify your paying family members who may not see this posting.

- Note: We will have an audio soundcheck opportunity at 5:30 that same evening. This is your opportunity to get on with us to TEST YOUR AUDIO AND VIDEO SETTINGS, before the actual event. PLEASE TAKE THIS STEP IF YOU ARE NEW TO ZOOM MEETINGS.
Tuesday and Wednesday: IN PERSON SOLO EVENTS:
- Tuesday November 17th, 7:00 P.M. SOLOS at the Event Center: Piano and Guitar Solos ages 4.5 ages to adult.
- Wednesday, November 18th, SOLOS at the Event Center: 4:15 P.M., 5:30 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. Piano and Guitar, ages 4.5 ages to adult

Other Specifics for In-Person SOLO Recitals:
- Admission Fee: $5 per person. Cash, checks or QR code at the door.
- Doors Open: 20 minutes before event start time.
- Come and Stay: Out of respect for all performers, we ask that you and all guests remain for the full recital, expected to last approximately one hour. Please notify your guests in advance.
- Attire: Solo Performers- We ask that your attire be Sunday Best. Please no blue jeans or shorts. Lots of pictures will be taken and we want to look our best!
- Advanced Solo Time Limit: Just a reminder to our advanced soloists of a 4 minute time limit on your solos.
Thursday: Musical Manger Presentation: November 19, 2026. 6:30 p.m.

Early Childhood Music and Perfect Praise students present The Musical Manger, a multimedia event that you will not want to miss!
- Doors open at 6:10 p.m.
- Open to the Public- Let’s fill the room!
- $10 admission fee for all attendees
- Musical Manger Notes:
- Pre KNK, KNK and select KNK Graduates who are participating in the Musical Manger WILL also perform a piano solo on another evening. So sign up!
- EARLY CHILDHOOD MUSIC STUDENTS UNDER PRE KNK (AGE 4.5) WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE MUSICAL MANGER PROGRAM ONLY.
- Students who are taking private lessons in the KNK curriculum are included and expected to perform in the Musical Manger, in addition to their solo performance.
Listing Of Characters and Recommended Age Groups:
- Mary– Silent actress- age 4+
- Joseph– Silent actor- age 4+
- Donkey– Silent actor- Must fit costume
- Three Wise Men– Age 4+ Silent actors unless one wants to sing!
- The Dancing Star– Age 5+ Would be helpful to know beautiful, graceful movement. Will be active the entire show.
- Tambourine Worshippers– 4.5+ Will rehearse by video, zoom and some Tuesdays at 620 p.m.
- Shepherds– Guitars from KNK Tuesday 400 and Wed 520 classes
- Sheep– Tots N time and Music N Motion children
- Card Holders 4+ years who will walk center stage between scenes holding scene cards. Must be a good listener and independent (although DANCING STAR can walk with the child, if needed)
Angel Gabriel: Taller male from KNK department will speak simple script. (1 LINE)
Isaiah the Prophet- Taller Male from KNK department will read from scroll. (3 LINES)
Featured Singers and Singing Groups
Dancing Star sings “What a Wonder” soloist, then Angel Ensemble sings 2nd time.
- “Little Drummer Boy” soloist
- Possibly portrayed as one of the Wise Men
- “Into My Heart” soloist
- Sings once alone, followed by the full cast sings and does motions.
- Music N Motion and Tots N Time sing: Away in a Manger, Country Shake, Trot Little Donkey
- Pre-and KNK students- Soloist- Sleep Little Baby Jesus, Group: Into My Heart, Musical Manger
- KNK students- (Guitars ) Go Tell it on the Mountain, Into My Heart, Musical Manger
- Angels: Hallelujah Kids- Highest Praise with Tambourines, What a Wonder (or solo)
- Entire cast- Musical Manger – Grand Finale
Costumes: See Pictures above
Perfect Praise will provide top layers of costumes so we all look alike… Parents will provide the under layers. Please ready specifics and let us know by October 1st, if there is a need for help for your child’s underlayers.
Tots N Time and Music N Motion (3-4 years) Will be sheep; Parents of TNT and MNM will provide long, black pants, and long black sleeve shirts. Black socks and black shoes.
Angels and Head Angel: Girls ages 4.5 and up. Parents will provide white tights and underslips and ballerina slippers. White dresses, angel wings and halos will be provided by Perfect Praise.
Shepherds: (girls and boys) Shepherds have the simplest costumes. Nothing will be provided by Perfect Praise, as all you need is a housecoat with belt worn over black pants, black shoes, socks and black shirt. Headdress can be fabric or towel. Let us know by October 1st if you need help with your shepherd costumes.
Tambourine Worshippers: Same as angels, except Perfect Praise will provide red sash to go over the angel dress for the Tambourine Dance.
Narrators, Featured Pianists: (girls and boys) Black pants or skirts, socks and shoes. White long sleeve shirt, with provided Black Bow tie.

We want EVERYONE to be involved. Students and Parents!
Volunteers: We need lots of volunteers to pull this off! It will be amazing if everyone pitches in! We need help designing the backdrop, costuments, props, set up, and even help during the actual event. PLEASE TEXT DENIE IMMEDIATELY TO LET HER KNOW YOUR INTEREST AND AVAILABILITY. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

Look through these lists of rolos. Some are speakers, some are singers, some are pianists, some are dancers, and some are silent actors.
Text Mrs. Denie your list of interested roles to Mrs. Denie. 256-348-6634. Include your current classroom, child’s age, and roles interested in. You may submit more than one interest.
Non-speakers: If we get more than one qualified person interested, we will select by drawing… so have a 2nd and 3rd choice. Be clear in your desires.
Narrators, Speakers, Vocalists and pianists: If we get more than 1 person interested for a part, we will have an audition process. Proficiency is required on speakers, narrators, vocalists and pianists before October 15th.
Deadline for ROLE SIGNUP is September 19th, 6:00 p.m. After that date, roles will be assigned.
Practice Schedule and Streaming Training: Due to everyone’s schedule being so full, we are going to practice by videos, Zoom meets and during classroom lessons. Some roles will require outside rehearsals. We encourage all parents to use you Streaming service to learn the ALL SING songs listed by your department.
WE HAVE ONE GROUP WALKTHROUGH AT RR ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 17 AT 4:00-6:15. THIS PRACTICE IS MANDATORY FOR ALL PERFORMERS. PLEASE PUT IT ON YOUR CALENDAR.

Non-Speaking Roles
Non-speaking roles will be placed based on several criteria.
- Listening skills in piano class- ability to follow directions
- Availability for practice/ walk through on Tuesday November 17th 4-630 p.m. and perform on Nov 19th.
- Additional required practices depending on role acquired.
- Some parts may require audition (i.e. singing wise man, head angel, tambourine worship) and others.
If several qualified students sign up for a part, the part will be placed by random drawing.
Parents may need to supply part of their costume.
