We are expanding our ministry to mentor worshipping musicians beyond the private lessons we have focused on since 1996 by launching a Worship Mentoring Program.

We will customize a program for each student who signs up, based on their level of study and the style of music they are proficiency (by note, by lead sheet, etc). For children, teens and adults.

 

Here are the Basic Specifics:

  • We are offering this program in 6 week courses
  • Students may sign up for additional courses as your talents grow and develop
  • For students proficient on the piano or guitar to Level 5 Kids N Keys or beyond. Contact Mrs. Denie for questions.
  • The lessons will be a combination of 20-30 private sessions, group hour sessions and an end-of-session Worship Event
  • Participants may be existing students at our school, graduates or new to Perfect Praise Music
  • Students will be mentored individually with basic chord theory, performing chord progressions, and playing ad lib to songs
  • Individual mentoring will cumulate to include performing with a band or small group in worship, the ultimate training.

Here are the Schedule Specifics:

  • A Christmas session will run from October 21- November 22
  • The end-of-session event will be held at the Cooper House during our Sweet Music Christmas Event Group Mentoring Lessons- Monday afternoons, depending on schedules of enrollees
  • Private Lesson Schedules- will be scheduled on a one-on-one basis
  • Limited class size

Here are the Financial Specifics for Current Students:

  • The Worship Mentoring Program is in addition to your existing lessons at Perfect Praise Music
  • The Mentoring Program tuition for existing students is a $75 add on to your current lesson fees
  • Each student is required to provide a notebook or binder for handouts. There are no additional material fees required
  • You may spread tuition payment out over two months, with automatic payment established
  • You are responsible for payment, even if you do not attend lessons, as other are excluded

Here are the Financial Specifics for New or Returning Students:

  • If not an active student at Perfect Praise Music, a $30 application fee holds your space
  • For students not currently taking lessons at Perfect Praise Music, your tuition will be $150 for the 6-week session
  • You may break tuition payment out over two months, with automatic payment established
  • You are responsible for payment, even if you do not attend lessons, as other are excluded
