This course is required for children under age 6 years as a prerequisite to the popular Kids N Keys Level 1 Course. 

  • This class type is offered both in physical classes as well as via Zoom lessons taught at the same class time.
  • Lessons include Online Learning Course and recorded weekly Zoom Classroom with Mrs. Denie Riggs.
  • Everything is laid out for you to be organized and enjoy a fun, life changing and beneficial piano program for young children!

Piano Lessons for Kids Ages 4.5 to 6 Years ~ Are We There Yet?

Piano Lessons for Kids 4.5 years and up

Our piano lessons for kids ages 4.5 – 6 years and their parent are invited to enroll for “Are We There Yet?”    This vacation course is a trip around the world studying various countries while learning to perform at the piano with note reading.

This course enables reading and performing by note, ear training and piano skills and prepare students to do our Kids N Keys Level 1 Course.

Note: Our Kids N Keys piano classes are Partner Based.  A Parent, Guardian, Nanny or Babysitter attends classes with the students all the way through our popular seven-leveled program. Practice time is required to excel in the study of the piano and starts with just 3-5 minutes daily. (Students must have a piano/keyboard in their home for daily at-home practice time. A toy keyboard may work for this first PRE level. Check with the office for more details.)

Application Fee: New student application fee is $45 and that is required up front to hold your space. Promoting students may enroll with processing fee for account credit provided in-house.

Material Fee:  $70 plus tax  Includes: canvas embroidered book bag, a staff whiteboard kit, set of rhythm sticks, HomePlay Binder with Curriculum HomePlay Sheets, Seasonal Student book. Curriculum fee will be charged out when dispensed at the first lesson. Audio Tracks are included on the Online Learning Course, so a hard-copy CD or CD download card is available as an optional purchase for $10.

Monthly Tuition: $75 monthly for 3-4 month session of Pre KNK. Advance payment may be made for discount. (Session length determined by season)

Annual Admin Fee: $30 charged out to entire student body September 1st of each year. New students enrolling in July/August will have prorated annual admin fee based on your start date.

Performance Fee:  We perform on stage twice each calendar year.  Our performance fee varies by our events, ranging between, $25 and $50 each event. See Event Calendar on this site for more information.

Class Size:  Class size is 5-9 depending on school location.

Our Online Learning Course Included!

This course is a required prerequisite for children under age 6 years. Once they have completed this Pre Course, they will move directly into the Kids N Keys Level One Course, usually offered at the same time.  Get the Level One KnK Course specifics here.
