The study of Piano Improvisation includes adding runs, fills, chords, and other musical concepts that are not written in the music. Piano Improvisation Course by Mrs. Denie Riggs will enable you to look at music an entirely different way. You will study the important music theory behind music and them be released step-by-step to develop your own style of performance.
These lessons are offered in-person, On Zoom, Duo, FaceTime and via our Upload Portal. Contact Mrs. Denie for availability information.
Application Fee: $45 required up front to hold space. This fee is non-refundable as others may have been turned away.
Material Fee: $39.95 plus tax for 250 page book, Piano Improvisation, plus shipping. Book also available as a downloadable printable PDF.
Tuition: $135 month

Piano Improvisation Private Lessons ~ Online

The study of Piano Improvisation includes adding runs, fills, chords, and other musical concepts that are not written in the music. Piano Improvisation Course by Mrs. Denie Riggs will enable you to look at music an entirely different way. You will study the important music theory behind music and them be released step-by-step to develop your own style of performance.
These lessons are a combination of online theory lessons and private virtual lessons as you expand your knowledge into the wonderful world of piano improvisation..
Application Fee: $45 required to hold space. Your materials and monthly tuition will be charged out directly through the office based on your start date.
Material Fee: $39.95 plus tax for book, Piano Improvisation. Later, you will also need a hymnal or lead sheets of your choosing.
Tuition: $135 month
Annual Admin Fee: $30 charged out to entire student body August 1st of each year. New students enrolling in June/July will have prorated annual admin fee based on your start date.
Prerequisites: Student must be able to read four part harmony (treble clef and bass clef) from a hymnal, or have completed Level 1 Alfred Adult or it’s equivalent to be able to start this program. We offer lessons to help prepare you if needed.
