Description
Private Guitar Lessons
Our private guitar lessons teach kids how music works on the neck of the guitar or baritone ukulele. We teach note reading, chords and combination of the two. We offer private guitar lessons for beginners and advanced students alike. We love to teach students to use their guitar to worship.
We offer private guitar lessons in 20 and 30 minute segments based on many variances, such as two students in one lesson, or two instruments in one lesson with tuition fee ranging between $100- $150 per month.
Note: Private instruction permits Zoom and FaceTime options if running a temperature or for any reason you do not want to attend in person. We do not offer makeup lessons or refund for missed or cancelled lessons.
Age: Most 8 year old’s are ready for guitar lessons. We will consider students younger than 8 years by evaluation appointment.

Instrument: Each student needs an at-home guitar or baritone ukulele to practice on.
Add-On’s: Tuners, metronomes necessary add-on’s. Your teacher will tell you more.
Performance Fee: We perform on stage twice each calendar year. Our performance fee varies between $25 and $45 depending on what we do. All registered students are charged this fee except special needs students who are unable to participate, and adults who prefer to not perform. This fee is charged out one month prior to the event.
Annual Admin Fee: $30 charged out to entire student body September 1st of each year.
Locations: We offer lessons in three locations: AB Stephens Music (2828 Drake Avenue, Huntsville AL), Valley Fellowship Christian Academy, Holmes Avenue, Hsv Ala., at our new main office at 15886 Mooresville Road, Athens, 35613 and remotely on Zoom or FaceTime.
