Moses wrote the first five books of the Old Testament and will be telling his story, starting right now. 

Now let's hear from Dr. Lauren on the scientific point of view. 

It's time for Reasons We Worship with Mr. Michael.


Now, let's worship by singing the first verse of God Made the World.


God made you very special. Let's join Mrs. Denie, Pedro and Suzie to sing about it.

Now, point to someone that God loves. That's easy! God Loves You and everyone. Let's sing it! 

Our focus this course is on our right hand/ left hand. Let's do the Hokey Pokey. Get ready for some fun. 

A favorite that talks about God's love is Jesus Jive. Let's sing it now! 

Get your bells and let's sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star with Mr. Bass and Ms. Treble.

It's important where your keyboard is setting, as you are developing habits that last the rest of your life. 

We'd like for you to take a picture of your child sitting at their keyboard station and submit it through the Upload Portal to

your teacher!

We have a new musical concept for you today, the quarter note. 

Let's hear from Joyful, the horse. 

Mr. Michael is drawing our new quarter note value on Mama Do. Join him! 

Our new concept this lesson is the Quarter Rest. 

Let's learn from Ms. Treble and Mr. Bass. 

Now Mr. Michael will demonstrate the quarter rest also.

Gather your whiteboard supplies, let's draw the quarter rest.  

Joyful teaches us about the quarter rest. 

What is the opposite of playing the piano? Resting at the piano! Let's learn more. 

It's Piano Time. Drag out your piano like George, our friendly monkey. 

Mrs. Denie is going to teach us the importance of the piano! Let's listen and learn.

Mr. Bass and Ms. Treble want to help us understand the keyboard. Let's join them. 

Now, let's find out where to start playing the piano. Let's find Mama Do.

Ms. Treble will show you where to place your fingers, called the Five Finger Position.

The first step is to read the music. We call that Point and Read.

Get your pointer finger ready to read your music, Row, Row Row on Middle Do, Do, Do.

Now that we've pointed and read our notes, let's play and sing together! Your Partner will point to the music while you both sing. Put your right hand thumb on Mama Do and let's do it together.

 Now, your assignment is to practice this page 2-3 times every day and mark your practice on your Lesson 1 HomePlay Sheet found in your Getting Started Guide. You will turn this in to your Teacher at the end of each lesson.

Ear Training is very important. Mrs. Denie will tell you more.

  1. Complete HomePlay Sheet # 1 (see the Getting Started Guide for downloadable/printable versions). When your Learner has successfully completed all the practice for at least 5 days, take a picture of the completed HomePlay Lesson 1 Sheet and send it up to your Teacher. 

  2. Mama Do Worksheet, page 6 of your Student Book. Take a picture of your completed worksheet and submit it to your Teacher via the Upload Portal.
